Owner & Principal Designer, Leslie Thompson originally from Southern California, has resided in Naples, Florida for 39 years. Now Western North Carolina is primarily home, experiencing the surrounding nature landscape, with her husband Tim and Samoyed dog, Daisy.

Leslie brings to each project a unique vibe that breaths life into interior design. Malibu West Interiors commitment is to start with the concept with collaboration and then make it happen to completion, upholding promises and maintaining transparent communication. Leslie curates every detail, each for a one of a kind home, prioritizing wellness, nature connection and function. Biophilic design, incorporating nature and natural elements has been shown to have the ability to reduce stress and promote relaxation, something that everyone wants!
